Terms of sale
The short version: you pay for a report on a location, we email it on time, and we stand behind the data in it.
1. What you are buying
A Tupll Site Check report scores a location as a site for an independent coffee shop. For each location you get a Location Index, a percentile and a grade from A to F, the statistics behind them, maps, and a checklist for your site visit. How the score works is explained on our methodology page.
There are two ways to order. You can give us specific locations, each as a street address or as map coordinates. Or you can order a market: a grid of points across a metro area, with the areas and spacing you choose on the market page. Each point on the grid is a location and gets its own report. Both are paid through the same checkout at the prices in section 3, and there is no limit on the number of locations in one order.
Where these terms say "address", they mean any location you ask us to score, however you gave it to us.
2. Delivery
- Each report is emailed as a PDF to the email address on your order. There is no account and nothing to log in to.
- Orders with more than one location also get a spreadsheet comparing the locations, highest score first.
- Orders of 1 to 10 locations are due within one business day, and most reports arrive the same day. Orders of 11 or more locations are due within three business days. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays. Orders paid after 5 pm Central time count from the next business day. The exact delivery date is shown at checkout before you pay, and in your confirmation email.
- Each delivery email includes a backup download link that works for 90 days.
- To get a report sent again, reply to your delivery email. We only send reports to the email on the order.
3. Prices

The batch prices apply when the locations are ordered at the same time, in one order. Every location in the order is charged the same price, set by the number of locations in it. The same prices apply whether you order specific locations or a market.
Sales tax is added on top of these prices where it applies, calculated from your billing address at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
4. Our guarantee: we stand behind the data
- On time or refunded. If a report is not delivered by the delivery date shown at checkout, we refund that location automatically, and you still get the report.
- If we cannot score it, full refund. If we cannot locate an address, or cannot gather enough data to score it to our standard, we refund that address in full and tell you why. No report is sent for it.
- If a fact is wrong, we fix it or refund it. Within 30 days of delivery, if you show us that a stated fact in the report is wrong (the address, a public statistic, a named business or a distance), we will send a corrected report or refund that address, your choice.
What the guarantee covers. Every report, whatever its grade, is backed by these three promises: it arrives on time, it is built on the data we describe, and its facts are right.
The Location Index, the percentile and the grade are model outputs, not facts. They are our model's comparison of your address with similar locations. A high or low grade is the result you paid for, and the guarantee stands behind how it was produced.
A refund does not take the report away; you keep it. To claim under part 3, reply to your delivery email.
5. Nature of the report
Tupll Site Check is an informational location-analysis report provided by JLytics LLC, doing business as Tupll. For the location you submit, the report compares characteristics of the surrounding neighborhood with neighborhoods around existing independent coffee shops in similar types of areas.
The report may include a Location Grade, Location Index and information about factors such as nearby population, employment, businesses, coffee competition and drive access. These measures are comparative analytical tools. They identify patterns associated with locations where coffee shops currently operate. They do not establish that any particular factor causes a coffee shop to succeed or fail.
No forecast or guarantee of business results
Tupll Site Check does not predict or forecast sales, revenue, profit, customer counts, return on investment or any other business result. A strong grade does not mean a coffee shop will succeed at the evaluated location. A weak grade does not mean a coffee shop will fail there.
The report does not evaluate the property or building, lease terms, rent, zoning, permits, construction requirements, parking, physical access, signage, visibility, safety, landlord, future development, future changes in competition, or the buyer's concept, products, pricing, staffing, financing, marketing, management or execution.
Data and analytical limitations
The report uses public and third-party data from multiple sources. Those sources may cover different time periods and may contain missing, outdated, inaccurate or miscategorized information. Geographic data, business listings, routing data and demographic or employment estimates can also change after a report is prepared.
Except for the specific commitments in our guarantee (section 4), the report and its underlying analysis are provided "as is" and "as available." TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE REPORT OR THE DATA USED TO PREPARE IT WILL BE COMPLETE, CURRENT, ERROR-FREE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR BUSINESS DECISION.
Your responsibility
The report is informational only. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax, real-estate, appraisal, architectural, engineering or other professional advice. Purchasing or receiving a report does not create an attorney-client, advisor-client, fiduciary, brokerage or other professional relationship.
You are responsible for independently evaluating the location and conducting whatever professional, financial, legal, physical and market due diligence you consider appropriate before leasing, purchasing, financing, developing or operating a business.
Our guarantee
These terms do not reduce the rights provided by the Tupll Site Check guarantee in section 4. If your report is not delivered within the promised time, if we cannot score the submitted location, or if the report contains a qualifying factual error, the remedies stated in that guarantee apply. A refund is not available merely because you disagree with or dislike the grade, analysis or result.
6. Using your report
The report is prepared for the purchaser's informational use. You may share it with partners, lenders, landlords, brokers and advisers, but a lender, landlord, investor, business partner or other third party should not rely on it without our prior written consent. Please do not resell it or publish it as your own data. Map and data attributions in the report must stay in place.
Any sample report, demonstration report or example shown on our website or in marketing materials is illustrative only. It does not promise that another location will receive similar findings, grades or results.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JLYTICS LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO A TUPLL SITE CHECK REPORT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THAT REPORT. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory asserted, subject to any rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow the parties to limit or waive.
